Grepolis Attack Break!

Dear Players and Forum Goers,

We would like to implement 2 attack breaks during the holiday season. This will be a time when players will have the opportunity to attack wrapped presents instead of the surrounding villages. During the attack breaks all 'attacks' will turn into 'visits' and the troops will return home without fighting the enemy. The date and times of the attack breaks are as followed:

1.- 24.12.2010 at 18:00 until 26.12.2010 at 23:00

2.- 31.12.2010 at 12:00 until 1.1.2011 at 18:00

Please note that all times are Server Time, which is GMT + 1

To clarify the system further I will explain the rules for Conquest(old) and the revolt(new) system when trying to takeover a city during peace time.

Conquest(old):
It will be prohibited to send a colony ship 24 hours before peace time has started. If the Colony ship arrives during, or 24 hours before, peace time has started, the boat will automatically go home again, and the city will not be taken. In some cases you may not even be allowed to send it.

Revolt(new):
If you start a revolt right before peace time, you will not be able to take over that city if your Colony ship will arrive when the peace time is active. Instead your CS will turn back home.

Please consider these facts in your holiday strategy.

Due to an error in the communication of how this works players have been supplied incorrect information, for which we apologise.

The correct information is that the 24 hour ban on sending a Colony ship before the attack break applies to all worlds, Revolt or Conquest.

In addition this 24 hour ban is a fixed duration and is NOT dependant on the world speed.

Please expect the New Year break to be the same.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you, and hope that it does not affect you having a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Dear players and forum goers,

As mentioned in the previous post, the new years peace will start at 31.12.2010 at 12:00, and end on 1.1.2011 at 18:00. Please remember that no colony ship will be able to land 24 hours before the attack break.
