That would unbalance the whole game and render biremes useless.However i would like them to be able to take out transports and CS's as well, as that is the biggest limiting factor IMO
Honestly, I would just suggest getting rid of the unit entirely.
Erm nope. It will just start conquering without any escorts. I have done this in the past.Fire Ships can't kill CS, but they can stop it from landing if all naval escort accompanying CS is killed.

this was probably because you didn't have enough land units or something, i'm 99% sure that the CS will land regardless of fireships. i would say 100% but took off 1% just in case the game mechanics have changed recently without anybody being told.Test it again. Happened to me maybe a week ago. CS went back home.
