Yea Sadly
There comes a time in this game it seems always where the big eat the small. A time when pledges of loyalty totally vanish and the small join the big. A time when brothers and sisters abandon their comrades for a chance at final victory. In troubled times players who once stood beside their Team against an enemy cower off and join the enemy scared of defeat. I have seen all this many times but finally it has hit my own team.
The story for me as a player may or may not be over but the as for the Shadow League the final chapter appears to be written. We had many of good battles and many of good laughs. I have met many interesting people. Still the end is very bitter - when people you have been teammates with so long up and leave. Yet I think it is the nature of this game.
For me its a time of reflection - I never wanted the job as leader of an alliance. I never had the time to dedicate to it. Yet I did my best and can say I am very proud of what we have accomplished. At all times I did what I could to serve my team and make the experience of being a Shadow fun and fraternal.
In all it was a good experience - up til the end. The ending so bitter - not even the fact that people I worked with so long just upped and joined an enemy out to smash us. It is the people who left under false pretenses because they were scared to tell me, or players who left and said nothing.
Still this word in Greopolis will continue to play out - and this world is becoming more interesting all the time. I will look on and see it through to the conclusion - but for now with a heavy heart..... one im sure time will mend
Humbly,
