Rating system is flawed.
Basing a player on their stats only is something droid-boi would more than likely love and he would more than likely happily spend the next week number crunching that stats of every player in Sigma until his little overworked lappy over-heated and packed up after draining have of the power of a small Eastern European country.
Rating a player on ABP/DBP is overly flawed as it simply means they spend far too much time in Grep world farming/attacking and neglecting loved ones........never good.
Having a high ABP - means you smash your troops into the over-populated world of super turtles that is sigma. This sounds VERY IMPRESSIVE indeed - WOW I hear you cry - that player has a HUGE ABP - he must be a KILLER!! However, the learned amongst you will take a deeper look into smasher of the Super Turtles.......are they really that good and does it take much effort and skill to mindlessly attack?
Having a High DBP means you are more than likely the one of the specialised species of reptile that is found in abundance in Sigma known as the Super Turtle. These species have and extraordinary appetite of eating alliance resources by constantly demanding troops from their alliance to feed the craving of easy BP. Then then relieve themselves on the Sigma floor in the form of pretty Victory Processions so they can give birth to another Super Turtle City.
The sceptical amongst you might even wonder whether or not some of these players might infact sacrifice their (dare I say it?) OWN troops to feed their need for BP. How? Well........it's easier to support a ghost city with 1000 of your own slingers and kill them - you'll get all the BP from killing the 1000 slingers - you just wont get the BP from the troops that died - shock!
See - the mechanics of Grepolis are complex and infinite (kinda) but numbers alone say very little.
Position? Well - it's VERY impressive have 20+ cities in one ocean.......but give some thought to the players that are able to sustain their empire when their cities are firmly entrenched within foreign territory - far away from quick alliance support.. Yes their position is compromised but on the other hand - if they are able to keep the cities safe and continue to grow in enemy territory without relying heavily on their alliance - surely that makes a better player - even though their position could be considered compromised?
Reputation - the only thing that counts!
Alliance? Not really a credit to the player and no way to rate the player at all. In the herds that are doing well in Sigma.....all tell the same story - It's about the collective herd and not the individuals.
The best players are ones that find specific prey, pounce when they have to and minimise their own losses by avoiding the super turtle species of Sigma. They also try to work out when their prey is awake or asleep, go for the quick clean kill and then ponder their next meal.
Soooo

Reputation - Couldn't say nicer things about this guy. Has a life, goes on vacation, spends time with his loved ones and happily plods along steering his herd to water and assists in helping them find feasts of Super Turtles in Sigma and controlling the level of cannibalistic tendencies his herd has to keep the herd strong,
