Players of XI,
I thought I would take a moment and point out something to all of you, please note:
World Wonders Prerequisites
The world must have been in existence for at least 6 months
The sum of the top 50 alliances points must be at least 250 million
If the world is not in the "Era of World Wonders" after 6 months, the amount needed for the sum of the top 50 alliances will be reduced by 13 million per month.
Currently, the top 50 alliances on Xi total approximately 91 million points, that is not enough to get us to the world wonder Era (250 million needed), nor will it be enough even if we held the same top 50 point value for another year and a half.
It will take XI a minimum of just over 18 months to qualify for the World Wonder Era, and that is just the time before we can START to build one.
Add on the likelihood of another 6 months before 4 wonders could come close to being built, and all the excitement or worry over entering a hero world will unlikely affect any of the Xi players....us.
Take it for what you will, Innogames knows this, and have taken it's implications into consideration I am sure, what it means for you is simple...
It's an an upgrade you will likely never see. Unless of course you intend to play XI for another 2 years, and can convince another 1000 players to do the same.
One alternative, would be to leave XI, start a server that is over 6 months old, that has 250 million points divided amongst the top 50 alliances and then hope and pray that those people continue to play the game for the next 6 months without hopping to one of Innogames monthly server releases....
But wait...
The average population for servers older than a 6 months (Chi backwards) is approximately 4500 people. Most of which are inactives or very small players, making it nearly impossible to obtain world wonder era on any current server when the option becomes available.
Servers newer than 6 months may qualify for points, however, they will not qualify for the time limit, making it entirely possible that by the time they do qualify, and Innogames has launched another 4 or 5 servers , that they will no longer have the population count they need to make the world wonder era anytime before the limitations that are also facing Xi currently.
So, what is your opinion? What do you propose we do about it? There are options, but what do YOU think?
Ninja Edt: Tyrion has clarified for us now that Xi will qualify for the point requirement for a hero world, which means we COULD have a Hero World if 1 alliance were to build 4 world wonders before the server population dropped below 1000 actives, which it is dangerously close too now.
We are now proposing that the top 200 players combine into 1 alliance to build the 4 world wonders, enter the hero world, and make this a reality.
In addition, if we complete the 4th world wonder at the same time as another server does, it is entirely possible our server population will be combined with theirs in this new hero world. More people , new people = more fun.
